Sheena visibly stiffened at the mention of Volt and she lost all appearance of calmness. "What... how do you know about Volt?" Even saying his name aloud sent an shiver throughout the summoner. The memory of that day... and this girl - half-elf - claimed to know about it?

Her eyes narrowed. Nothing else Vicky was saying was making sense and it was true that Sheena thought her delirious. But if she knew something about that day so long ago when Sheena tried to make a pact with Volt... then just who was she?

Vicky gave a light smile and continued, ignoring the question, "His voice is at too high of a frequency for humans to hear. That and he speaks in the Angelic tongue. At least, that's what I believe. Others may have a different perspective but..." she shrugged and shifted slightly.

"Zelos might be able to understand him but it's hard to say," she said, "I pity him, y'know? Nothing seems to go right for him. I think Lloyd really does the man some good."

Sheena gaped. "Too high a frequency? He was... how do you know that? Do you work in the Sybak Research Center or something? And who's Lloyd? Man, I don't get any of this at all!"

Vicky opened her eyes and moved onto the bed, leaving the bag on the floor. She realized that she was trying to leave with no shoes before and she shook her head at herself. "I think it's safe to say that I do indeed work at Sybak," she said as she crawled under the covers. "There might be a reason that I ran away but I don't know it for the life of me," she shook her hair out of her face, "take me back if you want to, though I'd rather go to Meltokio."

"I take it you're going to bed?" Sheena asked in amusement as the girl snuggled under the covers. "Well, we'll see. I'll probably take you to Meltokio though so they can get a good look at your leg. I'd rather go to Flanoir but... it's too far of a travel. I'd have to get a boat from the Elemental Research Academy."

She laid back on her own bed but didn't get under the blankets. Lazily, she reached up and undid her hair.

"An EC, to be exact," Vicky yawned then removed her glasses. They were placed on the nightstand, this time in sight, before she turned off the lamp.

"Wake me in a couple hours, Corrine, I wanna start out early," Sheena yawned too and turned onto her side. She didn't realize just how tired she actually was. "Night," she called to the half-elf in the other bed even though it was about two in the morning.

Vicky grunted in reply then fell into a light sleep shortly after.

The smell of bacon reached Lee's nose and she groaned, not wanting to know what time it was. Her dad liked to make breakfast early but Lee was not a morning person. With a sigh, she sat up and it came back to her. What a weird dream... As she looked around however and noticed her TV, Gamecube and X-box were missing, she realized in horror that it wasn't a dream. Shit...

She got out of bed and went downstairs without getting changed.

Lynn was at the table with a cup of coffee in front of her. Eric was at the stove tending to the bacon and toast was being made over one of the burners.

"Morning," Lynn called as she brought the coffee to her lips.

"Morning," mumbled Lee, looking for the caffeine. She automatically went to the cup cupboard and made herself a cup of coffee.

"How are you feeling," her mother asked as Eric flipped over the toast.

"Tired," Lee replied truthfully. She smiled lazily as she sat at the table, sipping her hot coffee. It tasted different, stronger than she was used to, but it was coffee and it would do the trick.

"Yeah, I may have to re-learn the ropes but I wanna work," Lee said, taking a deep breath to take in the smell of coffee, bacon and toasted bread.

"Good," Eric said as a plate of bacon hit the table, "waiting forever doesn't do anything." He turned back and cracked an egg into the frying pan.

"They have school," Lynn said, "and Lloyd should be here in about half an hour to bring you into the village," the woman shook her head, "how that boy is late to school every other day, I'll never know."

Oh shit, Lee inwardly grimaced. She forgot she had to meet Lloyd. How would this go over? "It's Lloyd," she offered to her mom. "Mmm, smells good, dad,"

"Of course it does," the man said, "I'm making it." Lynn smiled.

Lee outright laughed. "Of course," she shook her head. It was so like her father, her real father, that it almost made her want to cry. Eric liked to think he was God. It was better to agree with him.

She downed her coffee, needing the energy it would provide.

"No, thanks," Lee declined, unsure why she was being polite to her mother of all people. Maybe because it didn't really feel like her mother, but more of a stranger?

Lloyd walked into the house without knocking, marching through the living room and into the kitchen. Eric was munching on a piece of bacon and he lifted the plate off the table, holding it out to the teen.

"Awesome!" he grinned as he took the plate and tossed a piece into his mouth.

Ah... ah... it's Lloyd. It's Lloyd. Breathe. Wow, she though again, he really is red. Like, all red. Lee didn't mind since her favourite colour was red but she imagined someone would get tired of the colour after hanging around Lloyd too much. Wow, she still couldn't believe she was in Symphonia.
